Funk 45
It took us a while to realise the full quality of this record, this is where we really found feeling, true grit, true musical feeling. I guess it’s what makes something like this so rare, not as vinyl but sound. You have to go deep with it, you really gotta listen. Since this we seem to have developed new ears, it’s taken us further into wanting more of this sound. Funky tough!
First release for new label, Sticky Records, with some nice, deep, layed back beats and organ. Another one of those rare Texas gems that could take you years to turn up but now available on this great looking little 45 reissue. By all accounts the Sticky Record outfit seems to be right on the ball and I'm sure we can expect more in due time. Click to their site for shop and nice research on, The Fabulous Capris.
