Funk 45
Super solid, raw funk. Bring it on screaming and show the punters you mean business.
The opening guitar we'd have looped, it tricks us into thinking Oooh, then puts out, yeah, a good tune and soulful but perhaps the vocals and lyrics could have done better. I'd see why anyone would like it and I would certainly look out for more Zip Codes records. If there are any.
Tra La La is a definite score on the heavy funk and very rare, only one or two known original copies in existence, So be sure to get your hands on this re-issue.
Funky funk. A very fat and motivating dance floor record, brings them from the corners heads bopping and teeth showing. The vocals are supreme and make the tune, full of bass and horns that pound over a crescendo beat. Relentless funk!

B/W Instrumental.
The best contempo record we have heard so far, a smooth fusion of funk and disco, a real monster in its Dico days and still heavily played. Originally released on 12" and the first ever Commercial 12" in UK. Other good titles to look out for, 'Gotham city boogie' or 'MeatHeat' UltraFunk album.
